Our application allows you to search for movies using The Movie Database (TMDB) API and generate movie posters. This process happens directly in your browser or through server-side functions that process your request in real-time.

Since we do not collect personal information, we do not use it for any purpose. The data you input (like movie titles, URLs, or custom text) is used solely to generate the poster image you request. This data is processed ephemerally and is not saved.

polaroidthis does not use a database to store user data. We do not save your generated posters, your search history, or any other information related to your activity on the site.

• TMDB API

  When you search for movies, we query the TMDB API. Your search terms are sent to TMDB to retrieve movie data. Please refer to the TMDB Privacy Policy for information on how they handle data.

• URL Scraping (Optional)

  If you use the feature to create a poster from a streaming service URL, our server may fetch the content of that URL temporarily to extract the movie title. This is done on-the-fly and the URL or its content is not stored.

We do not use cookies or any other tracking technologies for tracking user behavior or collecting personal data.
